Angel is doing well and has been stabilized on her insulin injections twice daily. She knows when it is time for her insulin and comes to her foster mom to get her injection. She has warmed up to her foster mom but does not like some other dogs. She needs to go to a home where she will be the only dog.
Her eyesight is getting worse from the diabetes so she doesn’t see well when it is dark. She has learned her way around her foster home and knows where she can and cannot go. She loves attention from her foster mom and will come to her for tummy rubs.
Won’t you consider adopting her and giving her a forever home? She is a such a sweet girl.

Meet Angel Marie. She is 4.5 years old and weighs around 14 pounds. Her parents had to give her up because they could not afford her insulin or the time required for her special needs. Angel Marie is a diabetic and requires 2 injections per day.
Currently we have Angel Marie on sponsorship only until we know for sure we have her insulin dosage regulated. She is a little shy still but coming around nicely. We will post an update very soon.
Angel Marie will need a fenced in yard. She is being fostered in NW Ohio.

IPPRA DOES NOT SHIP ITS DOGS. Please be advised that we do not transport. You will be responsible for coming to pick up your new dog on adoption day. The general location for each foster dog is listed in its profile. Preference is given to local applicants. Our Special Needs dogs (medical issues, seniors, puppy mill rescues, emotional issues) must be adopted close to their foster homes.
PLEASE NOTE - There are NO exceptions to filling out an application. Our dogs are in private foster homes, not a shelter facility. All of our rescue dogs are altered, up to date on vaccinations, flea-free and on heartworm prevention. We check references and do a home visit.
