Tisha is still OK considering her battle with CHF. She has good days and bad days as far as her coughing is concerned. We have her on pills and syrup to help ease her coughing a bit. She is sweet as ever and feels safest in her bed. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Tisha's cough is getting worse so we have put her on Sponsorship only while we evaluate her.

Meet Tisha. She is an 8-10 year old Yorkie and weighs around 7 pounds. Tisha came to us from a puppymill. She came in full of mammary tumors, emaciated, had a mouth full of rotten teeth and was almost bald. It appears she was also debarked. She endured a horrible life prior to escaping the mills. Tisha has always has a slight cough that will not go away so we are pretty sure she is in congestive heart failure.
Tisha is still a bit cautious but definitely is a very happy little girl that is absolutely no trouble at all. She enjoys lounging in a soft bed. She waits patiently to be fed twice per day and eats very well most days. Her hair has grown in nicely and she is just a very happy carefree little girl. She really would love nothing more than to have her very own home with a mama or daddy that will love her for the rest of her life.
Tisha is being fostered in NW Ohio and is ready for adoption anytime.

IPPRA DOES NOT SHIP ITS DOGS. Please be advised that we do not transport. You will be responsible for coming to pick up your new dog on adoption day. The general location for each foster dog is listed in its profile. Preference is given to local applicants. Our Special Needs dogs (medical issues, seniors, puppy mill rescues, emotional issues) must be adopted close to their foster homes.
PLEASE NOTE - There are NO exceptions to filling out an application. Our dogs are in private foster homes, not a shelter facility. All of our rescue dogs are altered, up to date on vaccinations, flea-free and on heartworm prevention. We check references and do a home visit. Only an approved application may adopt one of our rescue dogs.
