2/15/2010 - My foster mom said I should give everyone an update on how I have been doing enjoying my life of freedom! My foster mommy calls me Easy Weezy cause I am such a laid back kind of gal. I have been learning what it is like to live the easy sweet life of a truly loved pup. I really enjoy sitting around looking beautiful on the couch. I have been learning that people are great to give me hugs and rubs and I have started to give kisses back for payment. I am really great about doing my business outside cause I do not like that mess in the house at all. My foster mom has started giving me things called treats and WOW can I give it a big YUM YUM!! So, if you are looking for a easy going lovable sweet gal I am looking for that forever family to grow with.
10/20/2009 - Hi everyone! My name is Heloise. I am about a 4 year old 10 pound Yorkie. I am one lucky girl because I was rescued from a puppy mill where I spent my life living in a cage and having babies. Luckily for me, someone rescued me and got me to the Angels. It is a much more enjoyable life to just be a dog. I enjoy playing with the other kids here and I like lounging in the comfy dog beds. Mom says I am really doing good about going outside as well. She always tells me what a good girl I am!
Because I am a puppy mill survivor, I am still a little slow on trusting people. I like being around the other dogs and I follow their lead. I do like it when mom pets me, but sometimes I get scared and just want to lay in my dog bed under the desk. Mom says that with time, love and patience, I will get better about trusting people and will make someone a wonderful pet.
If you are looking for a girl like me, please let the Angels know. I would like to find a forever home where I can just relax and be a pet.
Heloise is being fostered in the Indianapolis area. She does require a home with a fenced in yard.
