1/26/2010 - Hi Everyone! I just wanted to do an update and let everyone know how good I am doing in my foster home. I have discovered TOYS! Wow are they fun! My foster mom laughs at me cause I like to run around the house with one in my mouth just squeaking away on it. I am always very happy and I love to meet new people. I enjoy going on car rides with mom and I am always excited to see what new place we are going to or what new people I might get to meet.

I am still waiting on my forever home. If you are looking for a happy, loving little girl like me, please let the Angels know. Until then I guess I will just keep running around and playing with my toys!

11/13/2009 - Listen up! If you are on this website looking for Yorkie or a small dog, then I am your girl. My name is Shannon and I am a 2 - 3 year old Yorkie. I weigh about 8 pounds. The puppy mill didn't want me anymore so they gave me to the Angels so I could find a forever home.

If you like to snuggle, go for walks, or just hang out, then I am the dog for you. My foster Dad says I am a sweetheart. I sleep cuddled up with him every night. I get up early with Dad while he makes his coffee and we walk outside to potty. After Dad leaves for work I go back to bed with Mom until she gets up.

I play well with other dogs too! If you are looking for a very sweet girl, then I am the one you want. Please tell the Angels if you would like to adopt me.

Shannon is being fostered in the Indianapolis area and requires a fenced yard.

The general location for each foster dog is listed in its profile. Preference is given to local applicants. Our Special Needs dogs (medical issues, seniors, puppy mill rescues, emotional issues) must be adopted close to their foster homes.

PLEASE NOTE - There are NO exceptions to filling out an application. Our dogs are in private foster homes, not a shelter facility. All of our rescue dogs are altered, up to date on vaccinations, flea-free and on heartworm prevention. We check references and do a home visit. Only an approved application may adopt one of our rescue dogs.
