5/13/10 Update - Millie & Tillie have been updated to be adopted together. They are bonded and must be adopted together. They are now at about 10 months old. They love to spend their days running and playing outside. They get along well with the other dogs at their foster home, but would truly like a home to call their very own!
11/13/09 We are Millie Jae & Tillie Jae (but we really think our names are Millie-Tillie because that is what Mom calls us!) We are a Yorkie-Chihuahua mix and we're about 3-4 months old. We're very lucky little girls - we came in to the rescue from a puppy mill. The only difference in the two of us is that Millie's head is lighter. We get along with other dogs and most people once we trust them.
We are a little timid at first, but we will warm up to you once we get to know you.

Millie Jae & Tillie Jae are being fostered in NW Ohio and require a fenced yard.

IPPRA DOES NOT SHIP ITS DOGS. Please be advised that we do not transport. You will be responsible for coming to pick up your new dog on adoption day. The general location for each foster dog is listed in its profile. Preference is given to local applicants. Our Special Needs dogs (medical issues, seniors, puppy mill rescues, emotional issues) must be adopted close to their foster homes.
PLEASE NOTE - There are NO exceptions to filling out an application. Our dogs are in private foster homes, not a shelter facility. All of our rescue dogs are altered, up to date on vaccinations, flea-free and on heartworm prevention. We check references and do a home visit. Only an approved application may adopt one of our rescue dogs.
