HELP PLEASE! Chelsey got out of her foster home's yard escaping under the fence. She is on the run somewhere in the Franklin, IN area. If you find her, please call us ASAP at 866-325-7297.
She is a mill dog and still a little scared. Please pray we find her soon.
Meet Chelsey. She is around 6 years old and 7 pounds. Chelsey is a puppy mill survivor. She is a bit shy and cautious but coming around nicely. She likes to play with toys and with the other doggies here. She sleeps in bed with her foster mom now.
Chelsey will need to go to a patient dog experienced home and a fenced in yard is mandatory. She will need continued help with her rehabilitation and trust issues. She has come a long way in two months. She is still hand shy, is so very sweet, but is still not quite ready to completely trust people yet.
Chelsey is being fostered in the Indianapolis area.

IPPRA DOES NOT SHIP ITS DOGS. Please be advised that we do not transport. You will be responsible for coming to pick up your new dog on adoption day. The general location for each foster dog is listed in its profile. Preference is given to local applicants. Our Special Needs dogs (medical issues, seniors, puppy mill rescues, emotional issues) must be adopted close to their foster homes.
PLEASE NOTE - There are NO exceptions to filling out an application. Our dogs are in private foster homes, not a shelter facility. All of our rescue dogs are altered, up to date on vaccinations, flea-free and on heartworm prevention. We check references and do a home visit. Only an approved application may adopt one of our rescue dogs.
