Roscoe is doing wonderful. He has turned into the most lovable and cuddly little boy. He would be happy just to sit on a lap all day. Aside from his dry eye in one eye, he seems to be very healthy and does not act as old as he is estimated to be. He does great with the piddle pads and is loving spending time outside in the sunshine. He is a total sweetheart.

Say hi to Roscoe. He is 10+ years old and around 6 pounds. Roscoe is a puppy mill survivor. He has been with me for 2.5 months and is doing very well. He is a lovable little boy, still a wee bit shy but really likes ear scratches and belly rubs. He sleeps in bed with me and follows me all over the house when I am on the move.
Roscoe does have one dry eye. He requires daily drops and always looks like he is winking at you. He has come around very well considering what his life has been like up until now and would make an excellent lap dog in a mature home.
Roscoe is being fostered in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area and must have a fenced in yard.

IPPRA DOES NOT SHIP ITS DOGS. Please be advised that we do not transport. You will be responsible for coming to pick up your new dog on adoption day. The general location for each foster dog is listed in its profile. Preference is given to local applicants. Our Special Needs dogs (medical issues, seniors, puppy mill rescues, emotional issues) must be adopted close to their foster homes.
PLEASE NOTE - There are NO exceptions to filling out an application. Our dogs are in private foster homes, not a shelter facility. All of our rescue dogs are altered, up to date on vaccinations, flea-free and on heartworm prevention. We check references and do a home visit. Only an approved application may adopt one of our rescue dogs.
