Hi, my name is Peyton Blue or as my foster mom calls me – Mr. Man. You can see from my pic, I am a 2.5 year old manly-man of 8 pounds of pure cool! I have 3 step siblings who weigh from 20 to 100 pounds. I get along great with all of them. We play and hang all day. I sleep in my crate cause that is how I like it. During the day when my foster mom is gone I rule the roost and hang with the other mutts. I was given up by my previous owners cause they did not have time for me. Whatever! When I meet new people I growl at them but that is just for show. I warm up real quick. I follow my foster mom everywhere she goes but that is just to protect her. I am great about going outside at my foster mom’s to do my business, she has a great fenced in back yard. Unless otherwise stated in the profile, all of our foster dogs require a fenced in yard.
IPPRA DOES NOT SHIP ITS DOGS. Please be advised that we do not transport. You will be responsible for coming to pick up your new dog on adoption day. The general location for each foster dog is listed in its profile. Preference is given to local applicants. Our Special Needs dogs (medical issues, seniors, puppy mill rescues, emotional issues) must be adopted close to their foster homes.
PLEASE NOTE - There are NO exceptions to filling out an application. Our dogs are in private foster homes, not a shelter facility. All of our rescue dogs are altered, up to date on vaccinations, flea-free and on heartworm prevention. We check references and do a home visit. Only an approved application may adopt one of our rescue dogs.
