Hi! My name is Allison and I am a 9 pound 2 year old Yorkie. My former owner did not have as much time to spend with me as she would have liked to, so she gave me to the Angels where she knew they would find me a great forever home. My foster mom says I am a very sweet girl who just craves attention. I am not sure what she means by that, I just know I really enjoy being petted and getting tons of attention. I follow my foster mom all around the house so she does not get lost. She says I am pretty good about doing my business outside as long as she goes out there with me. I guess I am afraid she will sneak out a door and leave me alone if she is not with me.
I have been sleeping in a crate at night and I am fine with that. Mom puts me to bed, gives me a treat and covers my crate. I do not make a peep all night long. I also stay in my crate when my foster mom or dad have to go somewhere.
I really enjoy it when mom sits down to watch tv or if I can curl up on her lap when she is on the computer.

Allison is being fostered in the Indianapolis area. She is ok to go to a home without a fenced in yard.

IPPRA DOES NOT SHIP ITS DOGS. Please be advised that we do not transport. You will be responsible for coming to pick up your new dog on adoption day. The general location for each foster dog is listed in its profile. Preference is given to local applicants. Our Special Needs dogs (medical issues, seniors, puppy mill rescues, emotional issues) must be adopted close to their foster homes.
PLEASE NOTE - There are NO exceptions to filling out an application. Our dogs are in private foster homes, not a shelter facility. All of our rescue dogs are altered, up to date on vaccinations, flea-free and on heartworm prevention. We check references and do a home visit. Only an approved application may adopt one of our rescue dogs.
